Your procedure mix
Facial feminization surgery is not one standardized operation. A plan may include forehead contouring, hairline advancement, rhinoplasty, cheek enhancement, lip procedures, chin and jaw contouring, tracheal shave, or facial fat grafting. The number and complexity of the procedures selected are major factors in the total estimate.
Dr. Kriya develops the combination around each patient’s anatomy and goals rather than applying a fixed package price.
Surgeon expertise and planning
Surgeon fees reflect the training, experience, and planning required for the case. Dr. Kriya’s approach combines craniofacial fellowship training, facial bone surgery experience, and an artistic background.
CT-based virtual surgical planning may also be part of developing an individualized surgical plan when appropriate.
Facility expenses
Facility fees depend on the setting, resources, and time required for surgery. Longer or combined procedures can change operating-room needs, staffing, supplies, and the overall facility estimate.
Anesthesia
Anesthesia is a separate part of the surgical estimate. Its cost can vary with the planned procedures, expected operating time, and the anesthesia services required for the individualized plan.
Recovery-related expenses
Planning should also account for prescriptions, post-operative supplies, time away from work, travel or lodging when applicable, and any support needed during early recovery. These personal expenses are not always included in a surgical estimate.
